Along the way, trekkers are treated to stunning views of some of the world's tallest peaks, including Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, and more.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel.  
Spend the day resting and preparing for the trek.  
Explore the lively streets of Thamel, a popular tourist hub.

Day 2: Fly to Lukla, Trek to Phakding 
Catch an early morning flight to Lukla (around 30 minutes).  
Begin your trek with an easy walk to Phakding (3-4 hours).  
Take in the scenic views of the Dudh Koshi River and the surrounding landscape.

Day 3: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar
Trek to Namche Bazaar, the gateway to the Everest region (5-6 hours).  
Cross several suspension bridges and ascend through beautiful forests.  
Namche Bazaar offers shops, cafes, and stunning mountain views.

Day 4: Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar
Spend the day acclimatizing to the altitude.  
Optional hike to the Everest View Hotel for panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam.  
Explore Namche Bazaar and visit the Sherpa Museum.

Day 5: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche
Trek to Tengboche, renowned for its monastery and spectacular mountain views (5-6 hours).  
Pass through rhododendron forests and enjoy sights of Everest, Nuptse, and other peaks.  
Visit the Tengboche Monastery, an important cultural site in the region.

Day 6: Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche 
Trek to Dingboche, a picturesque village in a high valley (5-6 hours).  
Enjoy the majestic views of Ama Dablam and other Himalayan giants.  
As you ascend gradually, be mindful of the altitude's effects.

Day 7: Acclimatization Day in Dingboche
Spend the day resting and acclimatizing.  
Optional hike to Nangkartshang Peak for spectacular mountain views.  
Explore Dingboche village and interact with the locals.

Day 8: Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche 
Trek to Lobuche, where the terrain becomes more barren and rugged (5-6 hours).  
Pass through Dughla and visit the memorials dedicated to climbers who lost their lives on Everest.  
Take in views of the Khumbu Glacier and surrounding peaks.

Day 9: Trek from Lobuche to Gorak Shep, Visit Everest Base Camp
Trek to Gorak Shep, the last settlement before Everest Base Camp (3-4 hours).  
After dropping your bags, continue the trek to Everest Base Camp (5-6 hours round trip).  
Explore the base camp, take photos, and absorb the atmosphere.  
Return to Gorak Shep for an overnight stay.

Day 10: Hike to Kala Patthar, Trek to Pheriche
Early morning hike to Kala Patthar for breathtaking sunrise views of Everest and the surrounding peaks (2-3 hours).  
Descend to Gorak Shep for breakfast, then trek down to Pheriche (5-6 hours).  
Pheriche, at a lower altitude, offers relief from the thin air of Gorak Shep.

Day 11: Trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar
Retrace your steps back to Namche Bazaar, passing through Tengboche and Phakding (6-7 hours).  
Enjoy the descent and revisit familiar landmarks.  
Celebrate your successful trek with fellow travelers in Namche Bazaar.

Day 12: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla
Trek back to Lukla, marking your final day on the trail (6-7 hours).  
Reflect on your journey as you descend through forests and villages.  
Enjoy a farewell dinner with your trekking team in Lukla.

Day 13: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu
Take an early morning flight from Lukla to Kathmandu.  
Transfer to your hotel and spend the rest of the day exploring or relaxing.

Day 14: Departure from Kathmandu
Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for last-minute sightseeing or shopping in Kathmandu.  
Transfer to the airport for your departure.

Includes:

  • All airport transfers (international and domestic) via tourist vehicle.
  • Twin-sharing/double accommodation in a 3-star hotel for 2 nights in Kathmandu with breakfast (Private room can be arranged at an additional cost).
  • Twin-sharing guesthouse accommodation for 11 nights during the trek in the Everest Region, with attached toilets in Lukla, Phakding, and Namche.
  • All standard meals during the trek (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), including one hot drink and seasonal fruits.

Mobile coverage (NTC & Ncell) is available but unreliable at higher altitudes. Some teahouses offer paid Wi-Fi, especially in Namche and Dingboche.
Yes, but electricity is limited. Charging is available in teahouses at an extra cost (per hour/device). A power bank or solar charger is highly recommended.
Teahouses (lodges) are available along the trail. Basic but comfortable. Twin-sharing rooms with common bathrooms. Hot showers, Wi-Fi, and charging come at an extra cost.
Yes. Altitude sickness is a major concern. Proper acclimatization and hydration are key. The trek usually includes rest days in Namche Bazaar and Dingboche.
You’ll need: Sagarmatha National Park Entry Permit Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality Permit (TIMS card is no longer required for this region)
Since April 2023, solo trekking without a licensed guide is not allowed in Nepal’s national parks. A guide enhances safety and experience; a porter can carry up to 20–25kg of luggage.
